Just west of Lince, Jesus Maria is an upper-middle-class area of beautifully-preserved, colonial-style houses which often sit next to modern, high-rise apartment buildings.
Home to Campo de Marte, Parque de los Proceres (which contains an ice-skating rink) and Parque Caceres, Jesus Maria is one of the greener districts in the heart of Lima. It is also home to several government ministries, foreign embassies, the venerable Universidad del Pacifico and more.
